Former doctoral student

Barbara von Rütte received a Master of Law from the University of Bern with a specialization in International and European Law as well as an LL.M. in European Law from the University of Leiden (Netherlands). During and after her studies she worked as a research fellow at the Centre for Swiss Migration Law at the Universities of Bern and Neuchatel. After an internship with the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (France) she gained experience as a junior associate in a business law firm in Zurich. Before joining the nccr – on the move in April 2015, she took the Zurich bar exam. Her main research interests are questions of citizenship, migration and human rights law.
