Der politische Begriff der Integration lässt Ausländerinnen und Ausländer als besonders integrationsbedürftig erscheinen. Soziale Probleme werden ethnisiert und strukturelle Benachteiligungen verwischt. Dabei bedient sich die offizielle Integrationspolitik einer undurchschaubaren Vielfalt an Unterscheidungen, die sie unverbindlich und unberechenbar werden lässt. Anstelle der heutigen Integrationspolitik sollte eine Politik der echten Anerkennung treten.
