The Migration Media Workshops serve as a dynamic platform facilitating constructive exchanges and knowledge-sharing among media practitioners, scientific researchers, and industry experts. In French-speaking Switzerland (since 2023), the workshops are a joint initiative by nccr – on the move and Comptoir des médias / asile.ch, while in German-speaking Switzerland (since 2025), they are organized with Caritas.

These workshops have a clear mission: to enhance the accuracy of information, combat biases through factual insights and personal narratives, and enhance the expertise of media professionals within Switzerland on migration-related issues. By connecting them with field experts, these workshops offer a unique opportunity for journalists to seek expert perspectives, gather accurate information, and address their queries pertaining to migration issues.
