Janine Dahinden is professor of Transnational Studies at the ‘Maison d’analyse des processus sociaux’ (MAPS) of the University of Neuchâtel. Her research interests are: Mobility, migration, social networks, symbolic and social boundary work, ethnicity, religion and gender. Her research is transdisciplinary and combines qualitative and quantitative methods. She has taught at different universities and published in German, English and French.
