Education Levels Vary According to Origin

The majority of the survey participants are highly qualified, with 60% holding tertiary education degrees. In particular, women have a slightly higher level of education than men, but they are also over-represented among the least qualified.

However, education levels vary by region. For example, 7% of individuals born in Africa and 5% of those born in Asia have no formal education at all, compared to less than 2% of Europeans. The majority of Europeans (58%), North America (91%) and Asia (75%) have completed tertiary education.
